The 2021 Queen’s Beasts White Greyhound of Richmond Gold Coin is the tenth and final release in The Royal Mint’s prestigious Queen’s Beasts Collection. This concluding design celebrates the White Greyhound of Richmond, a symbol of loyalty, courage, and honour, representing Henry VII’s claim to the English throne and the unification of the Houses of York and Lancaster.
Designed by Jody Clark, the reverse depicts the noble greyhound holding a shield bearing the Tudor Rose, a lasting emblem of peace and unity within the royal lineage. The obverse features the fifth definitive portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, also by Clark.
